People are trying to add nuts into every meal and so far are doing a good job, but for a beginner it can be a tricky business.

When it comes to cooking with nuts, one has to take care of a lot of things. We cannot throw three hazelnuts in a curry, and then serve it with bread and call it a nut-dish, no!
Everything has to be perfectly balanced. So, let’s read how to cook with nuts and how to prepare authentic nutty-dishes.

Almond Butter

Let’s start with something casual and basic. To prepare almond butter, you will need:

Ingredients needed :
  • Salted roasted almonds
  • Canola oil
  • Rosemary leaves
  • Asian pear
  • Apple
  • Salt
  • Smoked almonds
  • Celery
  • Fennel
  • Food processor

Put both kinds of almonds in the food processor and process them until the nuts starting to melt. Add canola oil to the paste and process again until smooth.Once it is smooth, transfer the paste into a bowl, afterward heat some more canola oil and rosemary leaves on moderate heat, for two minutes. Transfer the leaves to a plate and sprinkle some salt on it. You have got your Almond Butter.

The Protein Blast

Nuts are healthy for human body but only if used in a right manner. You cannot expect a roasted or chocolate dipped nut to benefit your body. So, this recipe is all about health, you can consume the drink at the gym, after or before the gym or any day as breakfast.

Ingredients needed :
  • Fat-free yogurt
  • Skimmed milk
  • Frozen blueberries
  • Cooked diced beets
  • Quick Oats
  • Vanilla whey protein
  • Blueberry preserves
  • Ground flaxseeds

There is nothing much to do with this recipe. Blend all the ingredients in any blender until smooth, and you are good to go. It is a healthy and quick meal, and because of all the protein, you will feel fuller for the majority of the day.

Nutty Honey & Mustard Treat

This recipe is the easiest on the list and best for young cooks who want to impress people with their cooking skills.

Ingredients needed :
  • Almonds
  • Cashews
  • Pepitas
  • Olive oil
  • Minced rosemary leaves
  • Ground mustard powder
  • Honey
  • Salt

Put a parchment-lined baking sheet in a bowl and toss everything in it while spreading equally. Bake the dish until toasted. Don’t be greedy and allow it to cool down, serve in stylish plates and absorb the appreciation.

Ending Note

There are three, ‘easy to make’ recipes that will allow you to include the much needed nuts to your meals. Don’t forget to follow the recipe strictly, keep in mind that one cannot toss any nut into any dish. Every nut has a different aftereffect, and each nut will taste different in different situations. For example, almonds will taste oily when added dry, but the oil will vanish if you soak them for a few hours before use. Eat healthy and stay fit!
